Y’all know I love my salmon for the omega-3 fats and grilling on the plank is so easy and delicious! Plus, not much to clean up!

1 Cedar Plank
2 one 1b. wild-caught salmon fillets, with skin
1 tbsp avocado oil
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp sea salt
1 tbsp pepper
1 tbsp ground cumin
1/2 lemon, sliced

Soak the cedar plank in water for 2 - 12 hours.
Rub avocado oil onto the salmon fillets.
In a small jar mix the brown sugar, paprika, salt, pepper and cumin. Shake to mix.
Rub spice mixture on the top of each fillet.
Allow the salmon to sit with rub for 10-30 minutes (can go longer if you are preparing in advance of grilling).
Preheat barbecue to medium heat.
Remove plank from water and pat dry.
Place salmon fillets on plank.
Place lemon slices on top of fillets.
Place plank directly on barbecue.
Close the lid and grill for 20-25 minutes.
May need to spray with water if plank catches on fire but if soaked long enough, this should not be an issue.
Remove, serve and enjoy!
